Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Anna Castillo made her debut with Elena Trapé in Blog (2010). This was followed, amongst others, by Promoción fantasma (Javier Ruiz Caldera, 2012); El olivo / The Olive Tree (Iciar Bollain, Made in Spain, 2015), landing her the Goya for Best New Actress; Oro (Agustín Díaz Yanes, 2017); La llamada (Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, 2017), earning her a nomination for the Best Supporting Actress Goya, an award for which she once again competed with Viaje al cuarto de una madre / Journey to a Mother’s Room (Celia Rico Clavelino, 2017), winner in San Sebastián of the Youth Award and of a special mention from the Kutxabank-New Directors Award; Girasoles silvestres (Jaime Rosales, Official Selection, 2022); Historias para no contar (Cesc Gay, 2022); El fantástico caso del Golem (Burnin’ Percebes, Made in Spain, 2023); Escape (Rodrigo Cortés, RTVE Galas, 2024), and Wolfgang (Javier Ruiz Caldera, 2025). She is currently in London filming Life and Flowers and Other Things (Pelayo de Lario), her first role in English.
In television she has participated in series such as Doctor Mateo, Amar es para siempre, El Ministerio del Tiempo, Estoy vivo, Arde Madrid, La línea invisible, Fácil, Su majestad and Se tiene que morir mucha gente.
On stage, she has played in the musicals A, by Nacho Cano, and La llamada, by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi.
