Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).

Bárbara Francisco Mendivil (Buenos Aires) created, in 2010, her production company Pasto, from which she has produced, amongst others, El estudiante (Santiago Mitre, 2011), Jury Prize at the Locarno Festival; El rey del Once / The Tenth Man (Daniel Burman, Horizontes Latinos, 2016), presented in the Panorama section of the Berlin Festival; Familia sumergida / A Family Submerged (María Alché, 2018), Horizontes Award in San Sebastián, and Puan (María Alché and Benjamín Naishtat, 2023), winner of the Jury Prize for Best Screenplay and of the Silver Shell for Best Leading Performance in San Sebastián and nominated for the Goya for Best Ibero-American Film. She is currently developing Fauna (Federico Veiroj), Los siete locos (Benjamín Naishtat) and Te amo y hoy todo es hermoso (María Alché).
She has participated in the Eave-Puentes programme, having also served on the INCAA and Ibermedia committees. She has been a jury member for competitions in Chile, Colombia, Uruguay and Paraguay and has given tutorials for the ACAU (Film and Audiovisual Agency of Uruguay) and for the Produire au Sud workshop.
