Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Aia Kruse (San Sebastián) is an actress and filmmaker. She trained in the performing arts at the TAI University and in stage management at the Cuarta Pared and studied film at Mono No Aware in New York. She also completed a screenwriting course at Larrotxene with Andoni de Carlos and Michel Gaztambide.
As an actress, she has starred in Zorion Perfektua (Jabi Elortegi, Zabaltegi-Tabakalera, 2009) and participated in films such as Handia (Aitor Arregi, Jon Garaño, 2017), Special Jury Prize and Irizar Award in San Sebastián and winner of ten Goya Awards; Ane (David Pérez Sañudo, New Directors, 2020), Irizar Award and Best Basque Screenplay Award in San Sebastián, in addition to 3 Goya Awards; Nora (Lara Izagirre, Zinemira, 2020), and Faisaien Irla / Pheasant Island (Asier Urbieta, 2024), screening this year in Zinemira, as well as in the series Velvet, La línea invisible and Altsasu.
She has directed the documentary Lux Bona, selected for the FIVER International Video-dance Festival and the short films Loiala, Ezin, premiered at the Márgenes International Film Festival and Dichoso, winner of the 30” Award at the NotodoFilmFest.
