Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Isabella Eklöf (Storholmen, Sweden) graduated from the Danish Film School as a director in 2011. Her feature debut, Holiday (2018) competed at Sundance and won the Grand Prix at the New Horizons Festival in Poland. As a screenwriter, she has co-written the script for Gräns / Border (Ali Abbasi, 2018), winner of Un Certain Regard at the Festival de Cannes. For television, she has directed episodes for the Apple TV series The Servant, and the HBO TV series Industry. Kalak (2023), her second feature film, won the Special Jury Prize and the Jury Prize for Best Cinematography in San Sebastian.
