Harris Dickinson and Archie Pearch (Devisio Pictures)
The British actor and director Harris Dickinson and producer Archie Pearch present Urchin at San Sebastián, Dickinson’s debut feature, which after screening in Un Certain Regard at Cannes —where it received the FIPRESCI Prize and the Best Actor Award— and at several international festivals, now arrives in Spain to compete in Zabaltegi-Tabakalera. In the conversation they will talk about the challenges of making a first film, their creative process, and Devisio Pictures, the London and New York-based production company they founded in 2023. They will also share the kind of company they aim to build and reflect on the present and future of their work.
Devisio Pictures is a London and New York based Film & TV Production company headed up by Harris Dickinson and Archie Pearch. The company was set up in 2023 and is dedicated to championing filmmakers and creatives with distinct voices, working closely with both emerging and established talent.
Devisio is committed to innovating and being disruptive in service of bold and visionary storytelling. The combined diverse interests and experiences drive the company to tell urgent, universal stories that transcend borders.
The company’s current slate spans multiple projects in active development, with its next feature set to begin production later this year and another at the start of 2026. Most recently, Harris Dickinson’s directorial debut URCHIN premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, where it was honoured with the Best Actor Award and the FIPRESCI Prize.
