Series Conference: Y2K Effect. A portrait of a generation
Twenty-five years after the turn of the century, the portrait of a generation takes clear shape. Audiovisual media has not only contributed to faithfully depicting the 2000s, but has also been key in building an emotional imaginary and a sense of generational belonging.
From the local to the national, from the 2000s to the present, this conversation among industry professionals aims to analyze the driving forces behind the creation of such projects and to explore the challenges and opportunities that arise when bringing them to wider audiences.
She is a screenwriter for Bosé (SkyShowtime, Telecinco) and a presenter of programs, galas, and events. She collaborates with the program Ovejas Eléctricas (TVE) and is a member of the La Cultureta talk show (Onda Cero). She is also a columnist for Fotogramas and a screenwriting professor at Carlos III University in Madrid.
(Donostia, 1977) Partner at Pausoka Entertainment. His latest series, Desaparecido/Desagertuta, was a hit and was filmed in Basque and Spanish. He created and wrote the series Go!azen, Hasiberriak, Aitaren etxea, and Ihesaldia. He wrote and produced the film El Vasco, which premiered at the 2022 San Sebastián Film Festival.
Cristina has been involved in the creative production and development of Marbella, Muertos, S.L., La Vida Breve, and Poquita Fe. She has 20 years of experience in pay TV, working as a commissioning editor for nonfiction, editorial design, and communications.
Andrea began her film training in Venezuela at the age of 15. After studying in Chile, she made her directorial debut with Nena, Salúdame al Diego. In Spain, she co-founded the production company Amor y Lujo. In 2022, she joined SUMA CONTENT as Head of Development and Executive Producer on series such as Cardo 2, Vestidas de Azul, Mariliendre and Superestar. She is an alumna of Berlinale Talents and EAVE Puentes.
