Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
This conversation proposes a debate on the implications of the LGBTIAQ+ label in films, as well as the challenges and strengths of these productions. It will also explore the role played, on the one hand, by sales and distribution agencies, and on the other, by platforms and festivals —both generalist and specialized— in the processes of internationalization and distribution of films.

He has worked at the Seville European Film Festival, the El Americana Film Fest, and La Mostra FIRE!! in Barcelona, where he is a programmer and co-creator of FIRE!! LAB. He currently directs the Alcoi International Animation Festival (ANIMALCOI) and oversees industry and programming at the South International Series Fest in Cádiz.
Brazilian born Sandro Fiorin founded FiGa Films in Los Angeles on January 2006 with partner, Cuban-American Alex Garcia, to produce, distribute, and sell Latin American content worldwide.
Raised in Rio de Janeiro, Mr. Fiorin went to film school in Sao Paulo (FAAP) and New York (New School), where he lived and worked for 14 years, before relocating to California in 2001.
Positions at the Film Forum, Universal, First Look Films and CalArts are part of his 25-year career in the industry. He was invited to program Encuentros, the WIP for the Miami International Film Festival, where he now resides, in 2017.
Mr. Fiorin has been invited as a jury member - as well as to conduct panel discussions on the state of distribution - in Cannes, Toronto, San Sebastian, Rotterdam, Istanbul, Cartagena, Mar del Plata, and at the United Nations in Geneva.
She studied film at the University of Chile and earned her master's degree from the Berlin University of the Arts. Her short film Locas perdidas (2015) premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Queer Palm and second prize in Cinéfondation. Her first feature film, Enigma (2018), premiered at Horizontes Latinos in San Sebastián.
She has been the Director of Marketing and Communications at Filmin since 2022, after spending time with the Brand and Marketing teams at Netflix Spain. She began her career at Canal+ and NBC Universal and coordinated social media communications for the film La Llamada. She also teaches and tutors at ECAM, Mostra FIRE!!, and Atlàntida Mallorca Talents Lab.
