With his feature debut, the director, producer and screenwriter Armando Bo competed at the Sundance Festival and opened the BAFICI in Buenos Aires. The film stars Carlos, a divorced singer who believes himself to be Elvis reincarnated now obliged to take care of his daughter. On a journey of madness and music, Carlos will have to choose between his dream of being Elvis and his family.
Born in Buenos Aires in 1978 and has worked in film and advertising since the age of 17. He belongs to the third generation of a filmmaking family. In 2005 he opened, along with Patricio Alvarez, Rebolucion, one of the biggest commercial production companies in Iberoamerica. He is one of the most sought-after advertising directors in the world, an activity for which he has won over 50 international awards. In 2009 he co-wrote Biutiful with Alejandro González Iñárritu and Nicolás Giacobone, Academy Award nominee for Best Foreign Language Film. His first feature, El último Elvis, received its world premiere at Sundance.
