The second film by the actors and directors Aitor Mazo and Patxo Telleria is a romantic comedy starring Xabi, a young man who tries to "cheer up" the last few hours in the life of his friend Maria, victim of a terminal illness, by saying he loves her: but Maria's miraculous recovery forces Xabi to keep up the pretence. Gorka Otxoa, Sara Cozar, Bárbara Goenaga, Aitor Mazo and Unax Ugalde head the cast.

BIOGRAPHY

Patxo Telleria has written around a dozen plays (he is two-time winner of the Max award for the best theatre script in Basque) and has written some of the most successful Basque TV series (Bi eta bat, Jaun ta jabe, Maité). Aitor Mazo, in addition to screenwriter and theatre director, has acted in films like Airbag, La comunidad and Cachito, and in TV series like Hospital Central and Cuéntame. Together they directed La máquina de pintar nubes (2008). Bypass is their second film.
