Thirteen films compete for the Kutxa New Directors Award

The selection of films making up the New Directors section was presented today. The Director of the San Sebastian Festival, José Luis Rebordinos, revealed the titles of the films to compete for the Kutxa New Directors Award, decided by a specific international jury. The Award comes with €50,000.

At the coming Festival, the New Directors section will propose thirteen first or second works by a new generation of filmmakers. With this selection and the Kutxa New Directors Award, the San Sebastian Festival maintains its firm commitment to the cinematic talents of the future.
