World premiere

Creole is the everyday language used by the majority of the population of Guinea Bissau. Even so, it has no official status. Musicians and writers from different generations explain through their works why they choose their language. 

BIOGRAPHY

Gorka Gamarra graduated in Law from the University of the Basque Country and obtained his Master in International Law at the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium. He has worked in the last ten years for a variety of non-governmental and international organisations in countries in post-conflict, such as Rwanda and Guinea Bissau. In 2009, he made his first documentary as a director and screenwriter, Umurage, about reconciliation between victims and executioners in Rwanda. The film was selected for the Zinemira section at the San Sebastian Festival.
