Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Lau Haizetara is an interesting meeting point for documentary professionals. The Forum is aimed at promoting coproduction relationships between European producers and strengthening cooperation between film industry professionals.
Within the framework of the San Sebastian film Festival, this year’s Forum will be held from September 20th to 22th, 2016, and will be carried out in three phases in order to optimize project quality, presentation and financing:
Pitching Workshops will give selected producers the opportunity to work intensively with tutors on the two days prior to the pitching sessions to advise them on how to best present their projects.
Pitching Sessions, where producers will have a chance to present their projects to a panel of distinguished international Commissioning Editors and experts in the field.
Individualized Meetings between the Commissioning Editors and representatives of the selected projects.
