Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
The Donostia Awards will be presented on September 17th and 21st. and tickets for the Donostia Award galas will be available for purchase on the Festival website from 9 am this Friday, August 26th.
Ethan Hawke Donostia Award Gala: The award will be collected on Saturday 17th at 22:00 by Ethan Hawke, followed by the screening of Antoine Fuqua’s film, The Magnificent Seven.
Sigourney Weaver Donostia Award Gala: The award will be collected on Wednesday 21st at 22:00 by Sigourney Weaver followed by the screening of A Monster Calls, directed by J.A. Bayona.
The ticket price for each Donostia Award gala is 35 euros and purchasea are limited to a maximum of 4 tickets per purchase.
Tickets for the Opening and Closing Galas are already on sale. The European premiere of La Fille de Brest / 150 Milligrams will be the opening film whereas the world premiere of L'Odyssée / The Odyssey will be the Festival's closing film.
