A new look at the figure of St. Teresa of Avila on the 500th anniversary of her birth, through the eyes of a young girl in today’s world as she reads one of the foremost works written by the Saint, The Book of Her Life.
Jorge Dorado, director and screenwriter, has received three Goya Award nominations: as Best New Director for the feature film Mindscape (2013), for his short fiction film La guerra (2006) and for his short docu-fiction, Nuevos tiempos (2011). He was assistant director on films including Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge, Pedro Almodóvar’s La mala educación (Bad Education) and Hable con ella (Talk to Her) and Guillermo del Toro’s El espinazo del diablo (The Devil’s Backbone). He recently made two chapters of the TVE series El ministerio del tiempo.
