Fernando is a good man who takes care of his only child, Daniel, a shy and sensitive boy. Following the death of his wife Ana, every night Fernando recalls their love as he sorts out his beloved dead spouse’s belongings. One day he finds a VHS tape that will change everything. This movie participated in the Films in Progress section at the last Festival. The film took part at the Co-Production Forum in 2014.
Aly Muritiba is a film writer, producer and director. He has directed seven shorts, a TV movie and two features. His short film A fabrica (The Factory, 2011) landed a mention of honour at the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival and was a finalist for the 2011 Academy Awards. Patio (Quadrangle, 2013) garnered an award at the It’s All True International Documentary Festival and was selected for the Critics’ Week at Cannes. Para Minha Amada Morta / To My Beloved won the Silver Zenith Award for the First Fiction Feature Film at the Montreal Film Festival.
