Armando, aged 50, looks for young men in the streets of Caracas and pays them to come back to his house with him. He also regularly spies on an older man with whom he seems to have ties from the past. One day he meets Elder, aged 17, leader of a small band of thugs. Lorenzo Vigas (1967) was born in Venezuela, where he studied Biology. In 1995 he moved to New York where he attended cinema workshops. On his return to Venezuela, he directed a documentary series for television, entitled Expedición. In 2004 he helmed his first fictional short film, Los elefantes nunca olividan. Desde allá is his first feature, winner of awards in the Films in Progress category of the Cinélatino Rencontres de Toulouse Festival in 2015 and later the Golden Lion at Venice Film Festival.
