The winning film at the last Malaga Festival was this feature film debut by Daniel Guzmán. Darío runs away from home to escape from his family nightmare. Luismi, his soulmate, Caralimpia, an old crook with a winner’s pose and Antonia, an elderly lady who collects abandoned furniture with her 3-wheeler van, become his new family.

BIOGRAPHY

Daniel Guzmán began his acting career at the age of fourteen. Having worked at several different jobs in film, theatre and television, he launched his career as a director, writer and producer with his first short film, Sueños, winner of the Goya in that category in 2003 and of the Golden Spike at Valladolid, among other awards. A cambio de nada, his first feature, won four awards at the last Malaga Festival, including the Golden Biznaga for Best Film and Silver for Best Director.
