BIOGRAPHY

Chai Vasarhelyi. Her first film, A Normal Life, won Best Documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2003. Her second documentary, Youssou N’Dour: I Bring What I Love, won numerous festival awards. In 2013 she released Touba, a documentary about the Mouride pilgrimage to the city of Touba, in Senegal. Meru is her fourth film. Jimmy Chin is a sought after and recognised adventure sports photographer and filmmographer. As a photographer he works, among others, for the National Geographic. As a filmmaker he has directed documentaries, TV and commercial projects for The North Face, Pirelli, National Geographic, Working Title and RSA Films.
