Winner of the top prize at Moscow Film Festival, this film stars Elena, Koko, Patso and Gosho, high school students in a small provincial town. Koko is in love with Elena. She wants to be a singer and is excited about the upcoming concert by a famous rock band. An event that shakes up the town and gives birth to new love.
Ivailo Hristov is an enormously active Bulgarian theatre and film director. In 2003 his film Emigrants, co-directed with Ludmil Todorov, won the Golden Rose for Best Film at the Festival of the same name in Bulgaria and was selected for several European festivals. His next work, My Friends Call Me Uncle (2006), won the City of Varna Award, also at the Golden Rose Film Festival. And Footsteps in the Sand (2010) won the Audience Award at the same event in addition to Best Balkan Film Award at the Sofia Film Fest. Karatsi / Losers won the Golden George Award for Best Film at the Moscow Festival 2015.
