BIOGRAPHY

Remton Zuasola directed his first feature, Ang Damgo ni Eleuteria, in 2010, challenging filmmaking convention to become the first Asian film shot in a single long take while painstakingly telling the heartbreaking story of an island girl who leaves home in search of a better life. The film garnered Best Film, Director, Cinematography and Musical Score at the Philippine Gawad Urian Awards, in addition to Grand Jury Prize at Jeunju Festival in South Korea.
