Júlia decides to go on Erasmus to Berlin. She will leave home for the first time, giving it little thought, launching herself into adventure. The city, cold and grey, will give her a frostier welcome than expected and she will face her expectations with reality: her existence will seem far removed from the new life she had dreamt of in the lecture rooms of the Barcelona School of Architecture.

BIOGRAPHY

Mid-way between cinema and theatre, performing and directing, Elena Martín founded the creation laboratory Els Malnascuts (Sala Beckett), performed at the P14 Volksbühne and managed the show Like si lloras, among others. As well as playing Ágata in the film Las amigas de Ágata (2015), she had a part in Con el viento (2017), first work by Meritxell Colell. She is currently co-directing the new theatre production of the company Íntims Produccions. Júlia ist, her directorial debut, won the Best Film and Best Director Awards in ZonaZine at the Malaga Festival.
