Madrid, the 90s. In the middle of the night, the police receive a call. Amid screams of terror, they hear children shouting out about the presence of strange phenomena in their flat, deep in a working-class district. Two days earlier, Verónica, their older sister, had used the Ouija board at school. Without realising it, she has just opened the door to something supernatural, inexplicable, which will move into her house over the next hours, becoming increasingly more incontrollable and, above all, very, very dangerous.

BIOGRAPHY

As well as being a director, Paco Plaza is a screenwriter, producer, editor and even costume designer on one occasion for Tropismos (1995), his first short film. Paco is known in Spanish cinema for having created, with Jaume Balagueró, the trilogy [REC] (2007), which garnered a total of 26 accolades and 17 nominations at numerous film festivals and was the object of an adaptation directed by John Erick Dowdle, Quarantine (2008). His other films as a director are El Segundo nombre (2002), Romasanta (2004) and the documentary OT: La película (2002), also with Jaume Balagueró.
