Jorge was a professional basketball player until the age of thirty-five. Now he’s thirty-seven and doesn’t know what to do with the rest of his life. Every day he gets up late, plays at video games, stuffs himself with fast food and goes out to walk until nightfall. He has very little contact with other people and lives in a bubble he will try to burst when he realises that perhaps he has gone too far in his isolation.
David González Rudiez has worked as a producer, screenwriter and editor and has been part of the Kimuak catalogue on five occasions. He has won more than 60 national and international awards with his short films. With his first feature film, La fosa (2016), independently self-produced, he won the Best First Film Award at the Paura Horror Film Festival. Arder (2017), his second feature, premiered in competition at the last Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival, in the Noves Visions section. La noche nos lleva is his third film.
