He is accompanied by Noelia, his mother, who is much more liberal, and whose husband holds an important political position. They are met by Olivia, Noelia's younger sister, who has been living in London for years and is married to Duncan, an unemployed actor eight years younger than herself. Luis is to occupy a room rented from Oswald, one of Olivia's neighbours, who lives in total disorder. Noelia returns to Madrid for a few days, after having asked her sister to wisen her son up a bit. Olivia does just that, thereby leading to a love affair between nephew and aunt.
