Tracey Power is an  extraordinary woman who has maintained her courage, honesty and humour despite having suffered abuse and trauma at the hands of her family and the state from birth. Thracey looks different, doesn't follow the social rules of behaviour, sticks her tongue out and brups when she wants to... Tracey has a mental illness which has led to her being institutionalised a number of times. She is both street wise and disarmingly trusting and generous. She looks very tough, yet she is very sensitive and vulnerable. Tracey's story tells us a lot about living with mental illness, about being different, and about surviving without losing your spirit or humanity.

A taxi driver in an African tunic is racing through the streets of Dakar. Beside him, a young woman with bleached blond hair is reading the newspaper, oblivious to the world outside. In the rundown taxi devoid of windscreen, a Russian meter ticks off irregular units. A piggy-bank in the shape of a mosque and the image of a Muslim saint swing back and forth to the rhythm of the ride. On the back seat is a shinning golden saxophone. While the driver steps up his feats of saring-do, the young girl remains unmoved. Suddenly, he breaks the silence to announce: "I can see even the wind going by!".

Même le vent is alove story that starts in front of the Dakar Medina and ends on the road overlooking the mosque at the edge of the ocean.

Minefield tells the story of a nurse who channels her energy into helping her patients, her suffering, and the discoveries she makes about herself. The action takes place as emergency medical supplies are parachuted to a refugee field hospital. It follows her story as she sees the parachute land in a minefield, through her decision to get the medicine out, to her terrifying ordeal in the minefield itself. The story is more than a tale of a young nurse figthing to save sick people in the hostile environment after a war. It examines the intense courage and individual needs in order to make life decisions about her own safety and explores the bonds that develop between medical aid workers and survivors.

Before them, the Metropolitan Police, the FBI and the Army train their weapons on the scene. Unfortunately, little Sally trots along to buy popcorn.

Proekt 19 / Project 19
Serguei Loukiantchikov
Belorussia
This film belongs to the expressionist genre, with an organic combination of cinema and painting. It is a parable on the threshold to the XXI century and takes lace at a railway station switchyard, seen by a boy from the window of a railroad car. The game of childish dreams turns into the alarming and hopeful world of a man searching for his way in life.

Some middle-class, middle-aged couples like to get together on Saturday night and play bridge or go bowling. Others like to have group sex. Known to outsiders as swinging, the Lifestyle, as swingers call it, has quietly grown in the United States. The swingers themselves estimate that three million Americans are involved in organised group sex. The Lifestyle is the first in depth account of this undiscovered subculture, obtained during intense travelling over three years, around some dozen homes, parties and conventions of swingers who were willing to tell their experiences in public.
