Eight Ibero-American films to compete for the Cooperación Española Award
For the twelfth year running, the AECID joins the San Sebastián Festival to give the Cooperación Española Award going to the Ibero-American film making the best contribution to human development, the eradication of poverty and the full exercise of human rights
The award falls within the agreement between the AECID and the Festival to promote the Ibero-American audiovisual industry
From this year, the RTVE-Otra Mirada Award will honour women producers for their contribution to a more diverse, inclusive and egalitarian audiovisual industry
The women producers and co-producers of eight films participating in the Festival’s 74th edition will compete for the accolade
The members serving on the jury at the twentieth edition are María Solana, board member at RTVE, actress Laia Costa and the producer Marisa Fernández Armenteros
