Bi txirula
Iñigo Garcia Agirrezabalaga
Two men are walking. They’re running away. They make their way through different landscapes in search of a more peaceful and warmer land. Like migratory birds, Bi txirula is a voyage where, apart from doing everything needed to survive (find food, sleep, find shelter.…), there is time to reflect on the possibility of another world.

David Arratibel
“Some instruments, like trumpets, make us think of courage. Others, like the flute, of sweetness. And there are others, like the organ, which steal the soul from the heavenly (Aristoteles). My whole family has turned to Catholicism. The distance between them was growing by the day, so I decided to make a film to understand how the Holy Spirit had entered their lives and, some...

My whole family has turned to Catholicism. The distance between them was growing by the day, so I decided to make a film to understand how the Holy Spirit had entered their lives and, somehow, mine too. A film about fondness, absences, empty spaces and distances”. (David Arratibel)

Ancient documents show that the spot was the setting of a story of meeting and cooperation between Basque whalers and American natives. Beneath the mist and amid a maze of stones and trees, we follow the members of the expedition in their search. If they find what they dream of, they’ll show that another world was possible, that another world is possible.

The film Euritan is a review of the narrative Klara eta biok, written by Itxaro Borda in 1985. Pitting the author against the words of her past, it updates her view on the peripheral relationship around the Basque character.
