But today everything has changed and his daugther Miriam listend to Radio martí, an anti-Castro station broadcasting out of the United States. The bond between Miriam and Ricardo is strong, and there will be no turning back on their separation, but Miriam is unwavering, even though the "free world" has little in common with the ideals of her youth.
